That Model  has already helped several, international clients: set up a dedicated offshore development center; enable and stabilize global service delivery capabilities; and subsequently have the option of owning the captive, offshore center in India. This offers a low-risk, hassle-free, cost-effective global sourcing strategy, which blends the advantages of traditional outsourcing with captive centers and M&A.

Three phases of TCG Global Center Model™

  1. Establish – TCG Software establishes a dedicated, offshore development center using industry best-practices of low-risk transition and ramp-up. This includes: procurement and management of physical facility and Infrastructure, staffing and training of technical resources, and creating a management team and processes for business and technology knowledge transfer.

  2. Service Enablement – TCG Software then collaborates with clients both to build global service delivery capabilities in one or multiple service and product lines, and to establish and stabilize Operations based on cost/ profit center parameters and service level agreements.


  3. Client Ownership – After a pre-defined (typically 3-5 years) period of operations, TCG Software provides various, flexible options for its Clients to transform the Dedicated ODC to a Captive center and to register long term benefits associated with a cost or profit center. The level of client participation ranges from transfer of complete control of the offshore center operations to the client (as in Build-Operate-Transfer), to shared equity (as in a JV), to partial equity, to even revenue/profit sharing arrangements based on service levels.
